The AGIBC Mission Statement
The American Gymnastics Institute Booster Club's
primary function is to help facilitate a positive relationship between the
gym, coaches, parents and gymnasts, while providing opportunities for each
family to offset their competitive expenses through various fund-raisers.
The AGIBC is comprised of each team family as its members and an elected
board of executive officers. Membership is automatic upon your child
competing on the AGI Gymnastics Team; your participation is voluntary.
The success of the booster club relies heavily on your participation and
input, so we can all benefit from activities and events. Your
participation can only help your relationship with the entire team and
your gymnast's competitive career. Virtually one hundred percent of
the profits earned through AGIBC are directly placed into the gymnast's
accounts. The more you are involved, the greater benefits you will
receive, not only financially, but also from team support and stronger
team values.
AGIBC meets one day during the evening, the second
week of each month, with ample posting. As a group, we decide on
fundraisers to promote and activities to reward the athletes. For
this reason, your participation in the Booster Club meetings is again
highly encouraged, so we may have open communication when ideas and
decisions are on the table. We are always approachable to new ideas
and discussing concerns, whether at a formal meeting, on the phone, or
before/after practice. Please do not hesitate to bring anything to
our attention.
Sincerely,
AGIBC Executive Board
